UNN notice on CBT MTH 111 Information and Batching

This is to Notify students offering MTH 111 that the CBT  Information and Batching Is Stated as follows:

Date: Wednesday 31st July 2024. Time: 8:00am – 3:00pm
Venue: Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, UNN and UNEC (see UNN website for details) Nature of exam: 15 multiple choice questions to be answered in 20 minutes

Instructions 

   1.ALL Students are to come into the test venue with only their

  2.     NO HANDSETS, CALCULATORS OR OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES, HANDKERCHIEFS, COURSE REGISTRATION PRINTOUT OR ANY OTHER PAPER are

 3.Descent dressing is allowed in the exam hall. 

 4.The CB Test will be taken in BATCHES due to the limited number of computers available at the

 5.All students are EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT THE VENUE of the examination at least one (1) hour before their scheduled start time for biometric verification, checking and proper

 6.Students are expected to be attentive and alert to hear when their batch is been called to take the test. Each Batch will be closed or locked after 20 mins it starts to create room for students of the next batch.

 7.Students should make sure they are available to take the test when their batch is called upon to take the test as those who MISSED their batch will NOT be allowed to WRITE IN ANOTHER

 8.If your department is not in the ‘Department’ column, you belong to or will write under ‘others’.

9.Paper for rough work will be provided at the entrance of the examination hall. Write your name/reg.no/Dept/signature on the rough sheet and submit at the end as it is the attendance to the examination, otherwise no result.

 10.If you are 10 minutes late to your batch starting time you won’t be allowed into the test hall. This means that you missed the test and will score zero on the test.

11.Once a batch starts writing the batch will be closed after 20 minutes. This means (i) students access to the questions will be withdrawn so you can’t see the questions anymore (ii) if you come x minutes late you can only write for the remaining 20-x minutes where x<10; for example, if you are 5 minutes late you will only write for 15 minutes.12. There’s no plan for mop up test so don’t ask. Make all the necessary efforts to clear all issues that will stop you from taking the test.

12.Learn how to refresh your browser before the exam. Sometimes the question appears in LaTex syntax (like code), just refresh your browser to fix the problem.
