Special Information For UNIZIK Students That Are Yet To Complete 2012/2013 2nd Semester Examinations

As we all know that the 5 months old strike by the
Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has
been called off, you are hereby informed that all
examinations may be concluded within a period of
one week or less.

Kindly go back to school, spend your time there with your studies to avoid committing academic suicide.

If possible, spend your Christmas within the school
environment unless you are sure of no distraction from home.

Also note that the university authorities will assume that you must have used the long period of strike to do your revisions, therefore about 3 courses may be taken a day at each departmental level.

UPDATE: The Authorities of the university today released the academic calendar for both the interrupted 2012/2013 and the upcoming 2014/2015 Academic sessions and according to the calendar, all outstanding and unwritten exams that were caused by the recent ASUU strike shall commence from January 6 2014 and the calendar did not specify when the exams will end but disclosed that orientation for new students shall commence on 13th January 2014.

Therefore, it is believed that the exams may be concluded within one week or less and you may sit for at least 3 courses per day.

So we advise you to go back to school now and keep yourselves busy with your books if you are among the students that failed to write or complete their 2012/2013 Second semester exams due to the recent ASUU strike.

We wish you all the best, and merry Xmas!
