FUNAAB gets full NUC's accreditation for 7 courses

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to all seven courses assessed during its Comprehensive Accreditation Exercise at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in October and November, 2023.

According to the Summary of Results released on June 6, 2024, by the Ag. Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, the accredited courses were Entrepreneurial Studies, Home Science and Management, as well as Hospitality and Tourism, each valid for the next five years.

Additionally, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, and Economics received full accreditation for the same period.

This accreditation means that none of FUNAAB's courses are denied or placed on interim status.

A visibly elated Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, upon receiving the good news, congratulated all staff members on the milestone and encouraged them to continue to strive for excellence.
