There comes a time during or after the UTME registration process where the need to either reset or change your password becomes necessary.
JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) has a policy on change of password for candidates who have registered for the UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) or Direct Entry examination.
According to JAMB’s policy, candidates are allowed to change their password on the e-Facility platform at any time, provided they have access to their current password. If a candidate has forgotten their password, he or she can reset it using the “Forgot Password” option on the e-Facility platform.
However, candidates are advised to keep their password secure and confidential, as JAMB will not be responsible for any unauthorized access or misuse of their account due to their own negligence or carelessness.
In addition to the above, you are advised to choose a strong and unique password that is difficult for others to guess or crack. The password should be at least eight characters long and should include a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
You are also advised to change their password regularly to enhance security and protect their personal information. It is important to note that JAMB may require candidates to change their password periodically for security reasons.
The need to change JAMB passwords are as follows though not limited to the underlisted;
