After Tuesday’s meeting with the Federal Government, the ASUU president, Prof. Ukachuwkwu Awuzie stated that the he will take back the FG’s offer to the National Executives Council (NEC) of ASUU to deliberate on it, following which a decision will be reached to suspend the strike or continue.
Prof. Ukachuwkwu declined to provide the date of the NEC meeting, but there are indications that it might hold on Wednesday.
Earlier on twitter, ASUU said;
“The FG (Federal Government) must meet all our demands before we call off the strike. As soon as issues are resolved, ASUU NEC will meet and address the press. Let us hope the FG will see reasons with us.
