ASUU Strike: Hackers take over BUK official Website

The official website of Bayero University Kano, www.buk.edu.ng has been hacked by members of the "Nigerian Cyber Army".

According to a message posted by the group, they are protesting the current ASUU strike which has lasted for over 100 days. The message posted on the hacked website is quoted as follows;

"We are Here to deliever a Simple Message to Nigerian Government Nigeria students have been on Strike for more than 100days now and The fucking Nigerian Government Does not want to do anything to stop this Crisis| W hy because their own students does not School in Nigeria | Now ok yourself a Question How would u feel, To be at Home for 100days if u were a student | we Argue you to fix this issus or else We would Stamp on Your Gov shits Next If you Doubts us WaTch Out xD"

Though no reason was given for picking Bayero University, it would be recalled that the former Minister of Education announced her return to the institution after her appointment was terminated.

We believe other universities will take a cue from this action and try to beef up their security. Oh of course.... They're on strike!!!

The question now is; Which University website will be next?
