The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised the public and candidates for the 2019 UTME to disregard the fake dates being circulated as the new dates for the mock exam and the main exam as the board is yet to announce a new date for the mock exam and a possible dates for the main exam if it happens to be postponed as well. This was contained in the official bulletin of the board.
According to the board, arrangements had been concluded for the conduct of the Mock examination and the main exam. Official update concerning the dates will be made in due course.
The board also urged candidates to to disregard the rumour that the result of the mock examination will be added to that of the main examination as that is not true.
The purpose of the mock exam is to give candidates the opportunity of familiarizing themselves with the conduct of the computerized test, get to know the examination processes and test the facilities at the Computer Based Test(CBT) centers before the main examination.
The Board finally advised all UTME and Direct Entry candidates to guard jealously all their documents pertaining to the UTME and Direct Entry examination.
