A list of candidates whose certificates have been withdrawn by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), for examination malpractice between December 1992 and 1993 have been released by the commission. The list of affected WAEC candidates was published in the weekly bulletin of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, released on Monday. The nature of the malpractices of the affected candidates was found to be on impersonation.
Hence, JAMB has noted that, it would be partnering with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), to curb the menace of impersonation by, enforcing its candidates’ registration for the national identity number.
