UNIOSUN reacts following the death of a student trying to sort out missing results issue

The management of the Osun State University, Osogbo, has refuted claims blaming it for the death of a student of the university, Busari Ayomide Kamali, who died in an accident while trying to resolve his missing results issue. Read here.

According to a statement issued by Ademola Adesoji, the Public Relations Officer of the institution, the student allegedly refused medical help offered by the university. The statement explained that after the accident, Kamali opted for treatment at a traditional medical clinic, and even when the university wanted to evacuate him to another medical facility, he allegedly rejected the offer.

After a series of persuasion without any positive result, he was later requested to write and sign an undertaking that he was the one that insisted that he should not be moved to an orthodox hospital to be treated, which he did.
