Unilorin Suspends Two Lecturers For Alleged Whistle-Blowing

The Management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has reportedly suspended two of its lecturers over alleged of insubordination.

The lecturers who reportedly received their suspension letters are Kayode Afolayan and Dr Solomon Oyelekan.

One of the affected lecturers who spoke with newsmen stated that the suspension may be as a result of the blowing of whistle of alleged corruption in UNILORIN, which he said was not stated in the suspension letter.

Reacting to the suspension, the Factional Vice Chairman of ASUU, Dr Bode Olumorin called on the federal government to come to their aid of the lecturers.
