- Eligibility: Open to graduates and individuals with relevant experience.
- Curriculum Overview: Rigorous exploration of cultural theories and artistic movements. Engage with scholars and practitioners, participate in workshops and exhibitions, and develop critical thinking and artistic vision.
Admission Requirements
Certificate Programmes
- Educational Qualifications: Three (3) credits at not more than two sittings, including English Language (SSCE/WASC/GCE/NECO).
- Teacher’s Certificate: Merits in three (3) subjects, including English, at not more than two sittings.
- Mature Candidates: Thirty years and above with three (3) credits, including English.
- Alternative Qualification: Five credits in WASC, NECO, GCE, or TCII with at least a pass in English.
Diploma Programmes
- Educational Qualifications: Four (4) credits at not more than two sittings, including English Language (SSCE/WASC/GCE/NECO).
- Teacher’s Certificate: Merits in four (4) subjects, including English, at not more than two sittings.
- Mature Candidates: Thirty years and above with three (3) credits, including English.
- Alternative Qualification: Five credits in WASC, NECO, GCE, or TCII with at least a pass in English.
Qualifying Examination or Interview
All applicants must undergo a qualifying examination or interview conducted by the university through the Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts.
Programme Duration
Certificate Programmes
- Full-time: 6 to 12 months
- Part-time: 12 to 18 months
- Executive/Professional: 3 to 6 months (Open to military, para-military, and top civil servants)
Diploma Programmes
- Full-time: 6 to 12 months
- Part-time: 12 to 18 months
- Executive/Professional: 3 to 6 months (Open to military, para-military, and top civil servants)
