The Cross River State police command has launched a manhunt in search of Emmanuel Friday Udofah, a final year Law student of the University of Calabar after he allegedly defiled a minor, who had gone to a hotel he manages to search for a menial job.
According to reports, the suspect who works at Specs Investment Limited, located in State Housing Estate had lured the unsuspecting minor with a notice of job vacancy in front of the hotel where the victim applied.
An eyewitness who narrated the ordeal said the victim was pushed into one of the rooms and was repeatedly raped, and is said to be in critical condition.
