The suspension of 4 major course, Medicine, Veterinary medicine, Engineering and Agriculture has been reversed by the FG.
This gives hope to the students who are currently studying in the affected programmes to graduate in their courses.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa'i however stress that a 6 month ultimatum has been given to the current Vice Chancellor to put in place the necessary facilities needed for the programmes and prepare for accreditation.
This decision by FG was unavoidable as students had continued protests this morning, after a road block was mounted on Umaru Musa Yar'adua Expressway in Abuja.
