Following the release of the Post-UTME result of the University of Ibadan, the Vice Chancellor of the University, has given a breakdown of candidates' performance in the 2018 Post-UTME screening exercise in a statement made available to the press.
It was gathered that a total of 17,956 candidates sat for the screening. Out of these, 11,730, representing 65.3% of the total number of candidates scored 50% and above.
According to the VC only candidates who scored 50% and above are eligible for consideration for admission.
A candidate identified as Anyanwu Favour Chinazaekpere came tops with a score of 90% and is seeking admission into Communication and Language Arts.
The names of the top scorers in the 2018 Post-UTME screening exercise of the University of Ibadan and their scores are as follows;

The VC further disclosed that the next stage in the admission process is the meetings of the Faculty Admissions Committee to be convened to select candidates for admission by setting the cut-off marks from the aggregate scores. The criteria for these include Merit, Catchment and Educationally-Less-Developed States. The meetings will hold from Wednesday, 26th September till Friday, 28th September, 2018. The list of admitted candidates will be published soon after.
