SEPLAT had announced its partnership with Sapele Okpe Community to build the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Sapele Teaching Centre, in Delta State.
The project & the accreditation of the centre which cost over N126m was funded from NPDC/SEPLAT JV fund allocation to the Sapele Okpe Community under its General Memorandum of Understanding (GMOU) .
The Teaching Centre will make #education available and closer to the citizenry both in the rural or urban areas of Sapele, Ethiope West and Okpe LGAs and the environs.

The Delta State Governor, his Excellency, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, lauded SEPLAT for promoting access to higher education in the area through the Open & Distance Learning (ODL) programme, thereby helping to eliminate the tertiary educational constraints & challenges of the area.
