Rivers State University presents another window of opportunity for all aspirants who have previously partaken in the Post UTME Screening Exercise for the 2023/2024 academic year. Those who couldn’t achieve the average required for gaining admission into their initially chosen programmes can now consider supplementary admission into several other programmes available.
Key Guidelines for Supplementary Admission:
- Eligibility Criteria: As a foundational requisite, candidates should have the accurate subject combination as depicted in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) suitable for their desired programmes.
- Essential Qualifications: It’s paramount for every candidate to have at least five (5) O’ level credit passes. This must, of course, include English Language & Mathematics, in alignment with the university’s set entry requirements for each Faculty or Department.
- Application Procedure: The university has facilitated a seamless application process. Begin by heading over to the official Rivers State University website. An e-payment of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) is required, which can be completed by generating a transaction ID on the university’s website. Subsequently, proceed to any designated banks to finalise the payment either using the Pay Direct Bank option or through Interswitch Verve enabled cards. Ready to apply?
