An Osun State Polytechnic student, Festus Adedoyin Ewejobi, who was earlier declared missing on Tuesday, September 15, has been found dead in his apartment in Iree, Osub state on Saturday, September 19.
According to reports, the deceased body was found after a search party was launched to determine his whereabouts on Tuesday September 15. while the search was in progress, the deceased neighbors perceived a stench from his room, fueling suspicion that he might have been harmed. The door leading to his apartment was forced open only to find his decomposed body riddled with machete cuts.
The body was evacuated and sent to his family for burial. The police has also revealed that no foul play was suspected because the entire body was examined.
