Police Set to Establish Additional Two Secondary Schools

Apart form the existing six Police Secondary Schools in the country, the Nigerian Police Force set to establish additional two.

Director of Police Education, Mr. Ibrahim Kabiru, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, disclosed the plan at the recent fifth passing out parade of the Police Secondary School, Ita-Ogbolu, Ondo State.

He said the aim of establishing the two schools, one in Gusau, Zamfara State and the other in Izwangele, Imo State, was to enable the police increase its contribution to the development of education in the country. Kabiru noted that the schools were expected to take-off this September.

Also speaking, the Acting Commandant of the school, Limcha Ahmed said his school since inception nine years ago had not failed in producing quality products for the tertiary education.

Congratulating the outing students for the successful completion of their studies, the commandant urged them to be good ambassadors of the school and their parents as they move up the ladder. (National Mirror)
