The National Open University, for the first time since its establishment has produced its first set of first class graduates.
The best graduating student Mrs Anthonia Okoye from Wuse II Study Centre in Abuja who was a fashion designer and a mother of five children spoke with newsmen after receiving the award narrating how her relentless quest made her took up the idea of the Open and Distance Learning after being disappointed 3 times in different institutions for different reasons.
Mrs Anthonia Okoye a B.Sc holder in Peace and Conflict Resolution has been offered automatic employment as announced by the NOUN Vice Chancellor, she hopes to pursue her PhD.
