In a move to drive home their demands, the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) of University of Ibadan has shutdown the school gate and has also chosen to bring their mats to the school gate to sleep.
It will be recalled that members of the union began an indefinite strike weeks ago but decided to stage the protest of sleeping at the school gate to show their grievances against the move of the Federal Government which recently reduced their salary.
The aggrieved members, while addressing themselves threatened to shut down all social amenities such as power supply and water supply, libraries, lecture rooms among others, until their demands are met.
