The term private polytechnic is not a household name, many view poly as being either state or public owned (Federal or state polytechnics). In this article we intend clearing the confusion by listing the accredited private polytechnics in Nigeria,  their school fees for 2023/2024 academic session, the year they were established and where they are located.

By including the tuition fee, this gives the article more weight, readers are able to make an informed decision at the spot.

Listing the private polytechnics we have in Nigeria does not need any special criteria, some have been given due accreditation from the NBTE (National Board for Business and Technical Education), while others are yet to be given.

Currently there are 50 accredited private polytechnics in Nigeria according to the NBTE, these polytechnics have been given due clearance to run both ND and HND programmes, while some are in the process of obtaining the license for postgraduate programmes, others are contented with just undergraduate programmes for now.

Aside just placing emphasis on the private polytechnics currently operating in Nigeria and the various school fees payable, we will also include their locations and years of establishments. These details are needed to provide a 360 degree information for readers who would in one way or the other require this information.
