Not long after the mayhem that took place at the Federal Polytechnic Oko, a coalition of academic and non-academic staff of the institution embarked on a strike Wednesday last week as a result of non payment of their take home salary.
In a bid to wave out the looming strike, the rector will today hold an in-house meeting with the workers in order to curb the strike action.
Meanwhile examination approaches, and it is expected that academic activities will restor to normalcy soon after the meeting. The out come of the meeting will be communicated soon.
