The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the commencement of fresh Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes for Fountain University following a resource verification visit carried out by the education regulatory body few weeks ago.
The news of the approval was communicated to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim in a letter signed by the Acting Director of Academic Planning of NUC, Abubakar Girei on behalf of the Executive Director of the Commission.
The list of Undergraduate Programmes approved with effect from 2023/2024 academic session are: B.A. French, B.A. Linguistics, B.A. Arabic, B.A. Islamic Studies, B.A. History and International Studies, B.Sc. Political Science, B.Sc. Public Administration, B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies, B.Sc. Electronic and Computer Systems as well as B.Sc. Electronics and Communications. While the new Postgraduate Programmes approved are: M.Sc. and Ph.D Accounting, M.Sc. and Ph.D Computer Science, M.Sc. and Ph.D Public Administration, as well as M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D Political Science.
