Consistency and stress free result processing framework are the goals as the DICT, today, unveiled a dedicated results processing platform for the Postgraduate School of the University. The platform has the ability to handle the peculiarities of the PGS.
The Dean PGS, Prof. Joseph Olagunju, while speaking at the unveiling hinted that with the launch of the application by the DICT, the manual processing of results with its characteristics human errors will be abolished with immediate effect from the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
This in turn will improve the result process timelines, and also guarantee a stable backup of results for future referencing.
The Dean PGS also appreciated the Vice Chancellor, Prof I.I.Olatunji-Bello, mni for her unrelenting effort to ensure that the processes of the PGS become seamless. He further thanked the DICT for the strong impact that has now been witnessed at the PGS due to in house innovative solutions by the DICT.
Meanwhile, the Director, Directorate of ICT, Prof Oluwatoyin Enikuomehin, has hinted that a training on the use of the result portal will hold on Monday the 25th of July, 2022 after which all PG lecturers will be enrolled in time for the platform to be open for use for the 2020/2021 session.
He confirmed that only students cleared at LACACA-PG will be migrated to the result portal.
