Lagos school allegedly sends student home for having a political sticker on her school bag

A secondary school student of Odomola Junior Secondary School, Epe, Lagos state was allegedly sent out of school because her school bag had a sticker of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

The student named Barinada Marvellous was given an exit note signed by the school principal that reads;

" Barinada Marvellous of jss 2B is hereby permitted to go home to campaign for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians".

The incident has sparked mixed reactions among social media users. While some condemned the school for the move, others argued that students have no business taking political insignias to a school environment.
