The Joint admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) while announcing the 2017 official cut-off marks equally disclosed the deadline for all admission processes for 2017/2018 academic session.
While speaking to newsmen after the meeting, the JAMB Registrar Prof. Oloyede announced that admissions into public degree awarding institutions will end on January 15, 2018 while that of private institutions will ends on January 31, 2018.
He equally stated that admission decision for first choice candidates by universities is expected to end on October 15, while that for 2nd choice candidates will end on December 15.
Though, he did not say if these deadlines are for all tertiary institutions (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of education). But he stated that tertiary institutions are supposed to have the same admission deadlines.
We do hope that JAMB makes an official statement to clarify if these deadlines applies to all tertiary institutions.
