The management of Ignatius Ajuru University (IAUE) has postponed the 2016/2017 matriculation ceremony.
According to the management of the institution, The decision to shift the date of the matriculation was taken at the fifth Senate meeting to give the 1,800 newly admitted students of the university the opportunity to conclude their registration formalities and secure matriculation numbers before the ceremony.
The new date for the Matriculation exercise is Saturday April 22nd, 2017.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele will also meet with students on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at the university auditorium by 12noon and all students are expected to be seated by 11.30am.
The forum which will have all the Deans, Directors, Head of Departments in attendance, will provide the students the opportunity to dialogue with the Vice-Chancellor who will address all issues raised by them.
