Many reports came to our desk last week regarding what was said to be the release of supplementary admission lists of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). None of the reports came officially from SchoolGist.

SchoolGist staff was in FUTO on Saturday to check the claim that 2nd admission list has been pasted in departmental notice boards, and here is the report in quote;
"No new admission list has been released in FUTO outside the first batch released in FUTO merit admission list on the 2nd of August.
As at time of arrival, FUTO was virtually empty/dry with some traces of part-time programme students. There were no such information concerning admission list on any notice board, not even the pre-degree notice board."
SchoolGist therefore concludes that although the admission list may be out sooner than later, it has not been released as the rumours has it.
