This is to inform all candidates that partook in the 2024 UTME and selected the Federal University of Technology, Akure popularly known as FUTA. that the management has approved the release of her post-UTME screening admission forms for 2024/2025 academic session for sale.
Full details as regards, eligibility criteria for all candidates, registration, minimum required cut off mark, post UTME screening date, cost of application and proposed deadline for submission of forms have been provided.
You are advised to read carefully to avoid making mistakes that could jeopardize your chances of partaking in the post UTME screening exercise.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A) Kindly be informed that only candidates that score up to the minimum required cut off mark of 180 and chose FUTA as his or her first choice of institution is eligible to participate in the screening exercise. However, candidates who did not initially register FUTA as their preferred choice of institution but completed a change of institution of course form to FUTA are equally eligible.
B) Candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
C) Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- FUTA will not consider candidates with “Awaiting Results”.
- Candidates MUST have at least a pass in physics to qualify for admission into any programme in FUTA
COST OF APPLICATION FORM
The cost of FUTA Post UTME screening application form is N2000 as directed by JAMB. Payment can be made online only payable at any bank on e-Tranzact platform only.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION
The management has not announced a date.
How To Apply For FUTA Post UTME Screening Admission Form
Candidates are required to:
Step i – Visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) for information
Step ii – Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application form online; and
Step iii – Print out a copy.
The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise. Please note that the candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.
After payment, each candidate should visit the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng) and complete an online Registration Form.

ALSO NOTE THAT:
(i) All candidates should bring along the following items to the screening venue:
(a) Depositor’s copy of Bank Teller indicating payments as appropriate;
(b) JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration slips;
(c) Printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form;
(d) Print-out of e-Tranzact payment receipt (collected from the Bank) and
(e) One passport photograph.
(f) Candidates who would like to have a feel of CBT Practice Module should visit FUTA WEBSITE. This is OPTIONAL.
(ii) The venue of the screening exercise is the FUTA Digital Resource Centre, “Obanla Campus”, The Federal University of Technology, Akure.
(iii) Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones, I Pad, Walkman, wrist watches or any other electronic gadget and extraneous materials into the screening hall.

Candidate(s) who fails to present himself/herself for the Computer-Based Screening Exercise will NOT be considered for admission by the University.
