FUTA Post-UTME/DE Eligibility Requirements
a) JAMB Cut Off Mark: Candidates must score at least 180 and above in the 2024 UTME and must have selected Federal University of Technology, Akure their first choice of Institution in their 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration exercise.
b) Candidates who did not choose Federal University of Technology, Akure as their first choice institution, but wish to study in the institution are ELIGIBLE to apply for Post UTME on the grounds that such candidate must have successfully completed a Change of Institution and Course to FUTA on the JAMB Portal before the closing date.
c) Second (2nd) choice candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for the form.
d) Candidates with AWAITING RESULTS despite choosing FUTA as their 1st choice of institution during the 2024 UTME registration or changed their institution and course to FUTA are also NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for FUTA post UTME form.
e) O’Level Requirements: Both UTME and DE candidates applying for Federal University of Technology, Akure are expected to have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in Mathematics, English language, and three (3) other subjects relevant to your course of study that was registered in your UTME.
f) DE Requirements: Direct entry candidates must have relevant A-level passes in relevant fields in addition to purchasing the FUTA direct entry form.
How To Apply For FUTA Post UTME Screening Form
Please note that before starting your application, you need to have an active email address. This is needed for receiving information from FUTA as regards the progress of your application form.
STEP 1: You are required to Visit futa.edu.ng for more information as regards the post UTME application procedures.
STEP 2: You are to login with your UTME Number (JAMB registration number)
STEP 3: After successfully login in, generate your RRR number, make PAYMENT on REMITA platform and confirm your payment
STEP 4: Go back online to complete the form and click in the SUBMIT button to complete your online registration
STEP 5: Finally, print out your acknowledgement slip.
FUTA POST UTME REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
FUTA post UTME Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise. Please note that the candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.
Upon completing the payment for FUTA post UTME form, you will be expected to visit the University’s website to complete the online Registration form. The completed Form should be printed for the candidate’s use.
UPLOADING OF O’LEVEL RESULTS:
- All affected candidates are to submit their SSCE/NECO results online through the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng) from Monday, 11th September until Friday, 6th October, 2023
- Candidates are to note that the deadline for submission of their O’ level results would NOT be extended; and any candidate who failed to upload his/her results would NOT be considered for admission by the University.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Candidates are to come along to the venue with the following as mandated by FUTA management:
- Depositor’s copy of Bank Teller indicating payments as appropriate;
- JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration slips;
- Printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form;
- Print-out of REMITA payment receipt (collected from the Bank) and
- One passport photograph.
- Candidates who would like to have a feel of CBT Practice Module should visit FUTA WEBSITE. Even though this is OPTIONAL, it is highly recommended to enable candidates get acquainted with the processes of the exercise.
FUTA POST UTME EXAM VENUE
The venue for FUTA post UTME screening exercise is called FUTA Digital Resource Centre, “Obanla Campus”, The Federal University of Technology, Akure.
NOTE: Candidates are NOT allowed to bring the following items to the venue;
- Cell phones
- IPad, Walkman
- Wrist watches
- Sun glasses
- Any other electronic gadget and extraneous materials.
PRINTING OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/REGISTRATION SLIP
Kindly be reminded that you need to come along with your acknowledgement slip to the screening venue. This is a very important document that must be carried along when going for your screening test at FUTA.
