BRIEF FOR GRADUANDS
Graduands are kindly requested to note the following information:
- All convoking graduands of 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 are advised to check their names and graduation status on the list of graduands displayed on the University website fulokoja.edu.ng.
- All graduands are to pay the following mandatory Convocation fees, whether or not they attend the convocation ceremony:
(a) Undergraduate - N12,000.00
(b) Postgraduate
Hiring of Academic Gown - N5,000.00
Order of Proceedings - N5,000.00
Certificate - N15,000.00
Alumni - N5,000.00
TOTAL - N30,000.00
3. Convocation gowns will be available for collection on Monday, October 16th, 2023 in the respective Faculties, on presentation of evidence of payment of appropriate charges. While Certificates shall be distributed on the Convocation day at the various Faculties and the Postgraduate School based on the return of Academic Gowns, Graduands are to note that Academic gowns are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. In the event of loss of academic gown, a fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) and Thirty-Five Thousand Naira (N35,000) for first-degree graduates and Postgraduates respectively, being the cost of replacement, shall be paid before the release of certificate.
5. Graduands are expected to attend a rehearsal of the Academic Procession, which will be held at 3.00pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Convocation Arena, Mini Stadium Felele, after the Research Fair.
6. It is compulsory for all graduands who will attend the Convocation Ceremony to participate in the Academic Procession and wear the approved academic outfit.
7. All graduands are expected to be formally dressed in complete decent English wear (i.e. suit, shirt, and tie for men, and skirt and blouse or gown for ladies or full traditional attire).
8. All hired gowns should be returned by the graduand to their respective Faculty Officers no later than Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Failure to return the hired gowns on that date will attract a fine of N500.00 per day.
9. Payment for Convocation materials in item (ii) above shall commence from Monday, October 9, 2023.
10. Graduands are to log into their individual portal and generate RRR for payment of the Convocation fee.
