One of Nigeria's foremost Engineering Professional Organization, the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) has elected four Senior academic staff of FUTO as Fellows of the Institute. They were elected at the NSChE Board of Fellows' meeting held on 10th October, 2013 at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja Lagos and dully ratified at the Council meeting of 12th October, 2013.
The new fellows:
1. Engr. Prof. K.O. Okpala.
2. Engr. Prof. (Mrs) K.B. Oyoh - Dean, Postgraduate School.
3. Engr. Prof. F.P.O. Ukwuoma - HOD, Department of Project Management Technology.
4. Engr. Dr. M.S. Nwakaudu - Ag HOD, Department of Chemical Engineering.
The formal investiture for the award of their Fellowships, plaques and Certificates presentation took place during the Society’s 43rd Annual Conference Dinner/Awards Ceremony held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Le’ Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof C.C. Asiabaka has congratulated the staff for their elevation as Fellows of the Society.
