The Federal Government has announced the release of the 2022 National Common Entrance Examination results conducted by NECO for admission into Junior Secondary School of Federal Unity Colleges (also known as Federal government colleges).
Giving a breakdown of the released results on Monday, June 20, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr. David Adejo revealed that 15 candidates from various states across the country who sat for the examination scored 01.
A Lagos state candidate, Ajidagba Akanke, with registration number 542121DG, had the highest score of 201, while Obot Endurance Idara, an Akwa Ibom State candidate, with registration number 550470BF came second by scoring 200.
In the list of states with the most candidates, Lagos state came first with 19,518 registered candidates out of which 731 were absent, followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 8,623 registered candidates, out of which 306 were absent.
Anambra State came third with 5,335 registered candidates, out of which 265 candidates were absent while Zamfara State was fourth with 4,500 registered candidates, with 755 candidates marked absent.
Kebbi state with 74 candidates had the least number of registered candidates.
