I wonder whether we still remember our shut universities in this country.
We, the entire students of Nigeria, wish to express our lack of confidence in the manner the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities are handling the ongoing crisis in the education sector. They are toying with our future.
We are frustrated and traumatized by the inability of the parties to resolve the crisis.
I think President Goodluck Jonathan, a man of peace and believer in the rule of law, should intervene in the interest of the students. The stay- at- home has really turned many students to nuisances who engage in shady deals which lead to untimely death of many students.
I pray Mr. President should grant the demands of the ASUU as long as they are legitimate and in line with the rule of law.
