The registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, has described the prolonged industrial action embarked by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, as unnecessary.
Oloyede who spoke during an event at the University of Ilorin, on Wednesday, June 29, said the incessant strike by the university lecturers was capable of causing unrepairable damage to the affected students and even the nation’s economy at large.
