Edo State Polytechnic Post UTME Eligibility

The candidate must fulfil the following criteria: 

  • Five Credit level Passes in G.C.E ‘O’ level, Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE) or NBTE at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Mathematics and English Language and any other three subjects in relevant areas. And must have scored the required cut-off mark in the current UTME in addition to other requirements that will be determined thy the Admission Board from time to time.

How to Apply for Edo State Polytechnic Post UTME Form

The application cost is N5,000.

For first-time applicants, the following steps provide a comprehensive guide on how to navigate the application process:

Step 1: Preparing for the Application Process

Candidates are advised to secure a valid e-mail account before starting the application process. This will be used for communication purposes throughout the admission process.

Step 2: Registration

Visit the Edo Polytechnic application portal via https://edopoly.waeup.org/applicants/. Select your desired programme and click on ‘Register for application’ at the top left of the page to commence the registration process. Provide your first name, middle name, surname, email address, and phone number.

Step 3: Account Verification

After registering, your ID and password will be sent to your email. Use the link sent to your email to verify your account and proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Login and Application

Return to edopoly.waeup.org, click on ‘Login’ at the top right of the front page, and enter your username and password. Once logged in, click on ‘Edit Application record’ and fill out all the required information.

Step 5: Passport Photograph Upload

Upload a recent and clear 5” x 5” colored passport photograph. Note: this will serve as your official identification throughout your time at the Edo Polytechnic.

Step 6: Payment of Application Fee

To pay the application fee, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Interswitch” at the top left corner of the page. Follow the instructions to pay the application fee using an ATM-enabled card from any commercial bank in Nigeria.

Step 7: Final Review and Submission

Before submitting your application online, click on ‘edit application’ to preview and confirm your information. Please note that no corrections will be accepted after the application closing date, which is set for June 6th, 2024.
