Chrisland school, staff, and vendor to face charges over student's death

The Lagos State Government has revealed that Chrisland School, some of its staff members, and a vendor who were found guilty in the death of Whitney Adeniran, will face charges

The 12-year-old student was said to have slumped and passed out during the school's inter-house sports held in the Agege Sports Stadium on February 9. Following her death, an autopsy was conducted and showed that the student died of Asphyxia and electrocution which the school denied vehemently.

A statement issued by the Lagos state ministry of justice on March 24, said the state has established a case of involuntary manslaughter in addition to reckless and negligent acts against the school, some staff, and the vendor whose action led to the student's death.
