The Management of Bells University of Technology wishes to inform all concerned that the protocols for 100 Level students resumption for the 2023/2024 academic session are a follows;
AT THE UNIVERSITY’S MAIN GATE:
1. All parents and students entering the University on resumption day are expected to come through the main gate along Idiroko road.
2. All vehicles entering the University are mandated to undergo security checks.
3. Clearance for admission into the halls of residence will be issued on college basis as follows:
a. COLENG and COLMANS – Marquee
b. COLNAS, COLFAST and COLENVS – Edozien lecture theatre (ELT)
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. All 100 level students are expected to resume either on the 29th or 30th October, 2023.
2. Students are expected to arrive between the hours of 8:00 am. and 7:00 pm.
3. All students are expected to have paid a minimum of 25% of the fees.
4. Bursary Unit will have desks at the Marquee and Edozien lecture theatre (ELT) to confirm payments.
5. Students are to present hardcopy of evidence of payment at the Bursary clearance point for authentication.
6. All Students are expected to dress decently; indecent dressing will not be tolerated.
7. All female students should have their hair at mid-back length and of their natural hair colour occ colours or tinted colours are not allowed).
8. All male students are to cut their hair neatly and low. Beards are to be cleanly shaved.
9. Staff will be available to receive students from 8:00am on Sunday, 29th and Monday, 30th October, 2023.
AT THE HALLS OF RESIDENCE
1. Wardens and other hall officials will coordinate all normal halls of residence admission procedures which include:
a) Collection of evidence of payments of school fees payment, mattresses, and pillows.
b) Registration/documentation.
c) Collection of hall identification cards.
d) Collection of keys by the occupants.
e) Room inspection by the porter and occupants
f) Students are to present their clearance at the reception in the halls of residence before being allowed in.
