Babcock University Undergraduate Part-time Admission, 2021/2022

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into Babcock University (BU) Part-Time programme, for 6-year Degree Programme for the 2021/2022 academic session.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programme: 5 credits at the SSCE, NECO or its equivalents (at not more than 2 sittings) in relevant subjects.

CANDIDATES AWAITING 2021 SSCE/NECO RESULTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS BEFORE MATRICULATION.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates for Part-Time programme are required to register through JAMB before applying to Babcock University.

SCHOOL OF EDUCATION & HUMANITIES
Department of History and International Studies
Degree Offered: B.A. (Hons.) History and International Studies
Requirements:  5 credits in SSCE/NECO including English Language, Mathematics, History/Government and any other 2 subjects.
Direct Entry: Advanced level or Higher School Certificate, OND, HND, NCE or Bachelor of Arts degree in any related course from any accredited Polytechnic or University with third class division and above. Candidates must present their transcripts and O’ level results- as stated in the O’ level requirements above.

Department of Languages and Literary Studies
Degrees Offered: 1.) B.A. (Hons.) English Studies
                              2.) B.A. (Hons.) French                      
Requirements:  For 1.) and 2.) above, 5 credits in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any other two subjects. For 2.) above, a credit pass in French may be considered in place of Literature in English.
Direct Entry: Advanced level or Higher School Certificate, OND, HND, NCE or Bachelor of Arts degree in any related course from any accredited Polytechnic or University with third class division and above. Candidates must present their transcripts and O’ level results- as stated in the O’ level requirements above.

Department of Religious Studies
Degree Offered:  B.A. (Hons.) Christian Religious Studies.
Requirements:  5 credits in English Language, CRK and any other 3 subjects. At least, a pass in Mathematics is required for the program.
