The Nigerian Labour Congress president, Abdulwaheed Omar yesterday in Abuja pleaded with the Federal Government to please put the ongoing ASUP, COEASU strike into consideration.
In a statement released by Omar, he stated that it is high time ASUP and COEASU went back to work.
The Union (NLC) is touched by the ongoing strike which is affecting the economic, education sector and also denting the image of the Federal Government.
He further said the FG's constant breach of contract mostly with the education sector has had a big effect on the country as a whole , therefore appealing to the FG to end the protracted strike for the benefit of the students and country.
