In preparation for resumption of schools for students in exiting classes today Monday 3 August 2020, the Ogun state government has mandated all students in boarding houses to undergo Malaria and COVID-19 tests as that would make them admissible into their boarding houses.
This was revealed in a statement released on August 1, by the Special Adviser to the governor on Primary and Secondary Education Ronke Soyombo. All boarding students are expected to only stay in school hostels as private hostels would not be allowed to accommodate students in order to ensure effective monitoring.
Accordingly, admittance to school for boarding students will be strictly based on COVID-19 CERTIFICATE showing NEGATIVE.
