This is to inform students of Akwa Ibom State University that the institution will resume on Monday, 20th october 2014, for the second semester 2013/2014 session.
The semester is presumed to run for 15-16weeks with 8-10weeks for lectures and 2weeks for examinations.
Important Dates to note are;
•Oct 21, 2014-Lecture begins;
•Dec 28, 2014-Christmas break begins;
•Jan 2, 2014-Christmas break ends;
•Jan 5, 2014-Lectures resume;
•Feb 13, 2014-Degree examination begins;
•Feb 24, 2014-Degree examination ends;
•Feb 25, 2014-Semester examination begins;
•Mar 11, 2014-Semester examination ends;
•Mar 12, 2014-End of 2013/2014 session/ departure.
Moreover, lecture timetable plus semester timetable have been pasted and students are advised to get a copy of them.
N/B the timetable is to run concurrently in both campuses, and below is a copy of the timetable.
