Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has solicited for the support of well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies towards the development of the education sector in the state.
Ajimobi made the call in Ibadan at the official commissioning of the multi-million naira Adebayo Akande Hall of residence built under the Public Private Partnership arrangement with the University of Ibadan, UI.
He called for the contributions and support of prominent Oyo State indigenes towards the realisation of government plans for the Technical University, Ibadan.
Governor Ajimobi commended Chief Adebayo Akande for the initiative to come up with a PPP arrangement with UI to solve the accommodation problems in the institution.
