The African Liberty Writing Fellowship is a year-long program designed for young Africans who are interested in pursuing careers in academia, media, or public policy.
The program includes a five-week online course that provides participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful writers.
Following the online course, participants will enter into a writing fellowship that comes with numerous benefits, including expert instruction, publication opportunities, and stipends.
The African Liberty Writing Fellowship program offers a unique opportunity for young Africans interested in pursuing careers in academia, media, public policy, or any field requiring critical and analytical writing skills. This year-long program begins with a mandatory five-week online course for accepted applicants, focusing on opinion article writing. The top candidates from this training will be admitted as African Liberty Writing Fellows.

About African Liberty
African Liberty was founded in 2007 as a project of the Cato Institute and IMANI Africa, thereafter the Atlas Network. It is a platform for advancing individual freedom, peace, and prosperity in Africa by promoting civil discussion and debate about social, legal, economic, and world issues affecting Africans.
