Read the press statement below;
Greatest Aauites, press reports have it that owing to the meeting held between the Federal government and ASUU, the union is most probably reaching a common ground.
Going by the reports, our earlier scheduled Monday protest is hereby temporarily suspended pending the outcome of next week deliberation between the union and FG.
It will interest you to know that whilst we await the outcome of further deliberation, we have decided to channel our effort into engaging the school management to discuss fundamental issues bothering the students' community, topmost which is the landlord-student issue.
This move is to forestall any skirmish that may arise upon resumption between either party that may be prejudicial to our students.
The union remains resolute to addressing crucial matters as we uphold the maxim "An injury to one is an injury to all".
God bless you and stay safe!
