Prospective 2017 JAMB UTME Candidates have called on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board to as a matter of urgency rectify the difficulties being faced by candidates in accessing the ePINS at designated banks and accredited centres due to poor internet services and other technical hitches.
Some of the candidates who described this year’s registration as frustrating and stressful said that they gave been unable to get the ePINs even after making payment for it since the commencement of the 2017 UTME registration on Monday 20th March, 2017.
The called on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to do something about the issues so that candidates would be able to register before the deadline as stipulated by JAMB.
In some of the Local Government Areas visited at Nasarawa State It was discovered that it has been difficult to log into the JAMB’s website to get their PIN in banks.

When contacted, the Zonal Acting Coordinator of JAMB in Lafia, Mr Moses Akobu, urged the candidates to exercise patience as the management of the Board is on top of the situation and doing its best to resolve the issues.
According to him, the new system of vending ePINS introduced by JAMB is error free and the issues being experienced at the moment are just temporary ones which will be resolved within few hours or days.
