The Zion Empowerment Arena for the Needy Initiative (ZEANI) in partnership with the University of Nigeria (UNN) Nsukka announces the admission for its 2024 Community Development Service Education (CDSE) programme. This programme, led by Professor J.A Okonze, Director of the Centre for Technical, Vocational Education, Training and Research (CETVETAR), and Professor E.O Anaele, Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Technical Education (VTE), offers a unique opportunity for aspiring students and professionals.

Programme Overview

ZEANI-UNN’s CDSE programme is designed to provide both scholarship and non-scholarship opportunities in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The programme aims to reach youth in local communities, offering education and training in various trades at ordinary and advanced craft levels. It is regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and supported by the Enugu State Ministry of Education.

This programme is ideal for:

  • Individuals seeking to overcome poverty through formal apprenticeship education.
  • Candidates interested in technical and vocational-oriented schooling.
  • Persons with informal technical knowledge or native skills needing certification.

Method of Application

Interested candidates should apply online at ZEANI Application. The application fee is payable through the secure Paystack payment gateway. Applicants should print evidence of their application from the email used during registration.

Application Requirements

  • Payment of the application fee through Paystack.
  • Print and retain proof of application.
  • Admitted candidates must pay a registration fee and collect training items at ZEANI-UNN CDSE offices located at the African Development Fund (ADF) Building, Faculty of Vocational & Technical Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka, and other centers.

Additional Information

  • Admission is open to all qualified candidates without discrimination.
  • Those not admitted in the first batch will be considered for the second batch based on carrying capacity and quality control.
