The management of Yobe State University has announced to the general public especially newly admitted students that the Matriculation Ceremony for freshers who recently got admitted into YSU for the 2024/2025 academic session has been announced.
Every student participating in the Matriculation exercise students is mandated to be present at the venue for procession according to their respective Faculties by 10:am at the venue.
Please note that this matriculation ceremony is compulsory for all newly admitted students that gained admission into YSU either via UTME or Direct Entry method as attendance will be taken because you will be required to sign the Matriculation Register immediately after the event is over.
YSU Matriculation Ceremony Details
I am directed to notify you that the 2024/2025 (Academic session) Matriculation exercise has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 24 April, 2024 at 10:00am in the Ibrahim Gaidam Hall of the University.
By a copy of this letter, the Dean, Student Affairs, is directed to make all the necessary preparations and to issue matriculation gowns to all concerned as usual; while the Director, Information, is to give wide coverage to the ceremony.
Furthermore, the provost, College of Medical sciences and Deans of Faculties and all Heads of Department are required to prepare their respective matriculating students to partake in the exercise in order to legitimise their membership of the university community as required by law.
