The Yobe State Government said it has spent N669m as Scholarship to 15,745 indigenous students within and outside the country.
This was made known by the Executive Chairman, Yobe State Scholarship Board, Alhaji Ibrahim Toshia.
According to him, this is part of the efforts by the state Government to ensure Yobe indigenes acquire the best education within and outside the country to enable them realize their potentials.
He stated that the present administration in the state was committed to supporting students in every possible way to enable them acquire university degrees.
He advised the beneficiaries to make good use of this rare opportunity to acquire qualitative education across the globe.
