The Head of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Mr Patrick Areghan has reassured students affected with COVID-19 that none of them will miss their examinations. He revealed this during a monitoring visit to the Federal Government Boys College, Abuja.
Areghan reminded the students that COVID-19 was not a death sentence and encouraged them to put their minds at ease. He added that they won't be stigmatized and measures were being put in place to ensure that they write all their examinations.
According to him, the council was working with the ministry of education in different states and will collect examination scripts and keep in a special bank.
